There are various studies and experience, states that whole society will be benefited when we work for the women empowerment. Unfortunately, condition of women in India, is worse as they are unable to seek their basic rights such as health, sanitation, education, employment for their empowerment and respectable status in the society.
AATMGAURAV which means Self- pride in English and it was initiated in 2010 to support and betterment of womanhood. The main motive of the programme is to accomplish individual and collective self- pride and resilience for marginalized and socially excluded woman and girls through newfangled practices.
Prayas Trust initiated 4 C’s model for Aatmgaurav, the women empowerment programme. The 4 C’s model abbreviation of approaches for the betterment and elevation of womanhood namely, “creating” new opportunities for their development, “communicating” to them regarding their problems and giving solutions, “caring” in this we provide healthcare, education and economic support, sustaining “community” participation.
So far, AATMGAURAV through women’s education, empowerment program and health programmes have successfully made a difference to the lives of over 86,000 women and girl children. DONATE NOW
