In India, with more a billion population where only one-third of the people can read. There is lack of resources, insufficient funds and shortage of basic facilities to get education for underprivileged children is the toughest challenge.
Since, education is both the means as well as the end of better life, because it capacitate an individual to earn a livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on life issues: from social behavior to health care to knowledge about one’s rights and a step towards a better citizen.
“Nahnay Hathon Mein Kalam” is a PRAYAS TRUST initiative that is providing underprivileged children access to the education.We at this mission try to bridge the gap providing quality education to financially backward children. To eradicate poverty and social justice, education is the only key by which people can earn a better living, know how to raise their standard of living and have better life ahead.
Since its origination in 2009, more than 1,56,500 underprivileged children are directly benefited from Nahnay Hathon Mein Kalam campaign.
