Prayas Trust is established in 2008, The word ‘Prayas’ denotes Effort to make things better by working in well planned and comprehensive projects for those who are lacking due to poverty, education, food & water, sanitization, women empowerment, legal-aid, mental-aid, illness.
We firmly believe that everyone deserves the best chance for a bright future, which is why, we are fiercely committed to ensure that weaker section not only survive, but thrive. With a bold ambition and a powerful vigilance, we do whatever it takes to save them.
Our Vision, is to create a just and equal society for all. In order to do this, we help those who are discriminated on the grounds of gender, caste, religion, disability, and sexual identities. Prayas Trust wants to escalate the voices of women and girls and ensure human right to life and safety.
Prayas Trust aims to work with the most underprivileged members of the community and help create a safer environment for all Men Women & children , especially rural and backward children, and to provide support and encouragement to help improve their livelihood and gregarious condition, through rights-based and ethically sound education, empowerment programmed and health-care in order to help them, We recognize their importance and value as a responsible individual within the society.
We have initiated this program since 13 years and we are still making progress. But, the issues at hand has not been resolved and we won’t stop until the endured will get relief. Everyone must have the opportunity to have their voice heard and have the ability to fulfill their goals.
The desire of PRAYAS TRUST is to serve rural and underprivileged section of our society. Integrating this value in the overall working, the Prayas Trust not only makes them socially acceptable, but, We also makes them more receptive to take up societal issues. The essential part of us is to responsibly take up societal issues and serve the community as a whole.
The approach of PRAYAS TRUST includes action, reflection, replication and influencing involves it’s engagement with variables at different levels including stakeholder interest and relationships, relevant policies and legislations, social and environmental conditions. PRAYAS TRUST not only works with the community at the grassroots but also builds the capacities of other like minded organizations.
